Some Lesser Known Facts About Yung Miami

• Since childhood, Yung Miami had a passion for Trap music.

• Before starting her career as a rapper, Yung Miami sold clothes and more products on her Instagram page.

• She also worked as an Instagram Influencer and sold Bandage dresses and wigs on her Instagram page under her own label named ‘Caresha’s Collection.’

• In 2017, she met JT, her partner in the duo City Girls, with whom she recorded a diss track named “Fuck Dat Nigga.” The duo recorded the track in JT’s father’s home studio. They promoted the track in clubs and on social media, gaining attention.

• Later, the song was featured on the compilation CD “Control the Streets Volume 1” by Quality Control Music.

• According to Miami, their debut song was a “diss track towards their ex-boyfriends for not giving them money when they asked.”

• In 2018, the duo signed with the Quality Control label and released their first two projects.

  

• In July 2018, the duo featured in Canadian rapper and singer Drake’s song “In My Feelings.”

• Yung Miami released their debut album with City Girls in November 2018. Their debut album featured various famous artists including Cardi B, Lil Baby, and Jacquees.

• The City Girls duo released a documentary titled Period in which they talked about their journey as singers from the beginning of the career.

• In June 2019, the City Girls recorded their second album titled ‘City on Lock’ which was leaked online prior to it’s release and later, the duo decided to release the album on the same day it was leaked.

• In May 2021, she featured in American singer Latto’s remix of Lola Brooke’s 2021 single “Don’t Play with It.”

• In October 2021, she started her solo singing career. She released the track “Rap Freaks.” Her track Rap Freaks featured at 81st number during the week it was first released.

• In 2023, she started a podcast titled Caresha Please where she invites celebrities and have conversations with them over her signature cocktails.

  

• In 2022, City Girls released a song titled “Twerkulator”. The track ranked at 19th position on the R&B chart.

  

• In 2024, she featured in American singer Camila Cabello’s song Dade County Dreaming.

• In June 2024, City Girls split up after their music album RAW which was released in 2023 was declared a failure. According to various reports, both artists felt they were in different places and were not able to connect anymore and wanted to pursue their careers separately.

• Later, Miami recorded her debut solo mixtapes titled 50/50″ and “CFWM.”
