Some Lesser Known Facts About Yugendra Pawar

• After completing his formal education, Yugendra Pawar joined his father’s company, Sharayu Group, which deals in real estate, security, automotive, logistics, and farming in Maharashtra.

• Before starting his political career, he worked as a social worker in the Sharayu Foundation.

• During this period, Yugendra Pawar led the Baramati Taluka Kustigir Parishad, a wrestling group.

• He was then appointed as the Treasurer of Vidya Pratishthan, a school started by Sharad Pawar.

• He did not take part in active politics until the NCP split in July 2023.

• His uncle, Ajit Pawar, joined the BJP-Shiv Sena government during the split.

• After the split, Yugendra Pawar and his father joined the group led by Sharad Pawar. The group was named the NCP-Sharadchandra Pawar or NCP (SP).

• In November 2024, he contested for the Maharashtra Assembly from the Baramati constituency as a candidate of NCP (SP).
