• VJ Andy is a British TV host, video jockey, choreographer, and producer. He has mainly worked as a video jockey in various TV shows on channel V.

• Since childhood, he had a keen interest in dance. When Andy was studying in class 5, he started learning Kathak. While studying at college, he learnt the contemporary dance form. After he got a severe back injury, his doctor advised him to quit dancing. ^[5]The Indian Express

  I had always been tagged as a gay, homosexual and that has a lot of connotations in one’s life. This has been happening since I was a child. But I was lucky enough to have great parents. They never told me to behave in a particular way. I was lucky enough to have always got backing from them. I was allowed to have girlfriends, boyfriends and without any issues. That is something that needs to be worked on in the Indian community.”

• In 2013, he appeared in the Hindi reality TV show ‘Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki,’ which aired on Life OK.

• In the same year, he participated in the popular Colors reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss season 7.’ While Andy was inside the house of Bigg Boss, he shared that he had to face a lot of struggles after his father’s demise. Andy said that he was 13 years old at that time and did odd jobs like working in a dance bar to financially support his family.
