• Vivrant father wanted him and his brother to become boxers but his elder brother refused to play boxing and going against his father’s wish went on to play cricket.

• Vivrant grew up in a family of sports enthusiasts. His father was a boxer and his grandfather was a hockey player.

  

• Vivrant owes the credit behind his success in cricket to his elder brother Vikrant who supported and guided him after the death of their parents. He also gives credit to his stepmother who supported him in his cricketing journey.

• Vivrant started playing cricket at the age of 12.

• Vivrant was a right-hand batsman till the sixth standard but later switched to left-hand batsman after being inspired by his elder brother who was also a left-hand batsman.

• Vivrant made his List A debut on 21 February 2021 for Jammu & Kashmir vs Saurashtra.

• Vivrant made his T20 debut for Jammu & Kashmir in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 4 November 2021.

• Vivrant made headlines for his brilliant batting performances in the in the 2022-23 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He scored 395 runs at an average of 56.42 and was Jammu & Kashmir’s highest run scorer in the tournament.

  

• In December 2022, Vivrant made his Ranji Trophy debut against Madhya Pradesh.

• Before playing in the IPL, Vivrant was a net bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad

• Vivrant was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a price of Rs. 2.6 crore in the IPL Auction 2023. He drew the highest bid among the uncapped all-rounders in the auction.

• In his debut IPL innings against Mumbai Indians in 2023, Vivrant broke the IPL’s 15-year-old record and became the highest Indian scorer in his debut IPL innings. He scored 69 runs off 47 balls in the match and broke the record of Swapnil Asnodkar of Rajasthan Royals.
