Some Lesser Known Facts About Vibhu Raghave

• Vibhu Raghave hailed from Delhi.

• He belonged to a Rajput family.

  

• Vibhu was passionate about nature and wildlife from a young age. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a forest officer, but his mother advised against it, saying that living in the forest would not allow him to live with his family.

  

• After completing his engineering degree, Vibhu worked for three years at Adobe and later quit his job to pursue an MBA in Canada. He, however, later emailed the university to delay his admission by a year.

• During that gap year, he explored various interests and enrolled at the New York Film Academy, following his passion for films.

  

• While studying abroad, Raghave realised that many people struggled to pronounce his real name, ‘Vaibhav.’ So, to make it easier, he adopted the nickname ‘Vibhu.’ After returning to Mumbai, he chose to continue using ‘Vibhu Raghave’ as his professional name.

• Vibhu later began appearing in Hindi-language television series. He gained recognition for his role as ‘Saurav’ in the series ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’ (2014-2015), which aired on StarPlus.

  

• In 2017, he appeared as ‘Prince Billie’ in an English-language film titled ‘Yadvi – The Dignified Princess.’

  

• In 2022, Vibhu was diagnosed with colon cancer. He underwent treatment at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai.

• His friends, including actors Addite Malik, Saumya Tandon, and Simple Kaul, tried to help raise money for his treatment.

  

• On 27 May 2025, his friends shared a post on Instagram asking for urgent help with money, as he had been in the hospital for two weeks and they had no funds left for his treatment.

• On 2 June 2025, Vibhu passed away at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai after battling cancer.

•  Vibhu enjoyed cooking and frequently shared his recipes on social media.

  

• Vibhu also hosted a talk show called ‘Unwarp with Vibhu’ on his self-titled YouTube channel.

  

• He was a fitness enthusiast and went to the gym regularly.

  

• He was an avid traveller and often shared his travel experiences on social media.
