• Urmilla Kanetkar Kothare is an Indian actress, who is known for working in the Marathi film and TV industry. She has worked in many Marathi films including ‘Shubha Mangal Saavadhan’ (2006), ‘Duniyadari’ (2013), and ‘Ti Saddhya Kay Karte’ (2017).

• She is a trained Kathak dancer. She learned Odissi dance from Sujata Mahapatra in Bhubaneshwar. In 1997, at the age of 11, she took part in a program celebrating India’s 50th Independence Day.

  

• Urmila met Adinath Kothare, her husband, during the filming of her first ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhan’ in 2006. Adinath served as the assistant director in the film.
