Some Lesser Known Facts About Uchana Amit

• Uchana Amit belongs to a Haryanvi Jaat family in a village in the Karnal district of Haryana.

  

• He pursued his schooling in Karnal and later, moved to Chandigarh to pursue graduation. During the second year of his graduation, he decided to take up music as his career.

  

• Amit’s parents wanted him to become a government officer. He prepared for many government job examinations and qualified for the post of a Police Officer; however, because of his passion for music, he decided to pursue music as a career.

• In 2011, he started his music company named Star Recordz. He later worked with many renowned Punjabi and Haryanvi singers including Badshah.

• During the initial years of Badshah’s career, Amit performed many live shows along with him; however, due to his health issues, Uchana took a break from the music industry.

• In 2015, Badshah encouraged him to take up singing. He advised him to build his own singing career instead of helping other artists. Later, Uchana began singing songs.

• In 2019, he along with Badshah, produced a Punjabi film titled Do Dooni Panj under his production house Apra Films.

• In 2019, he released a song along with the Indian singer Badshah named ‘Kamal’ which gained more than a million views in a few days and after the success of the song, Amit Uchana gained much fame as a singer.

  

• Uchana Amit has lent his voice to many Hindi songs including Bomb Figure (2022), Naazneen Koi Nahi Tujh Si Ha Itni Haseen (2022), Tu Maan Meri Jaan (Fame) (2023), and Bairan Begani (2024).

  

• Amit has collaborated with Badshah on many songs including Baawla (2022), Top Tucker (2021), and Koi Na (2023).

  

• In December 2023, he appeared in the Grand Finale episode of season 3 of the Indian rap/hip-hop reality show MTV Hustle to promote his song Koi Na.

  

• He is a fitness enthusiast and often posts his pictures of working out on his social media account.

  

• He is an ardent follower of the Hindu god Lord Shiv and has also lent his voice to many devotional songs including Mere Saath Bholenath Main Kaahe Darru (2023).

• He considers Punjabi singer Babbu Maan his role model.
