  I don’t understand what triggered it as I was polite, but he turned rude. One of the employees, an African-American, said that we looked as if we were fresh off the boat and couldn’t speak English. That was insulting and blatantly racist. My friends and I were shocked. It’s traumatic to experience this kind of racism in the US; I have never faced it earlier. • In an interview, when she was asked if she always aspired to be an actress or if she had other goals, she responded,
  

  Honestly, I did have other aspirations. I wanted to be a veterinarian because I absolutely love animals But the problem was that I could not handle looking at injured animals, so my mom told me I could not be a vet like this. So that killed my dream (laughs). In the middle, I had this huge dream of becoming a businesswoman. However, I didn’t know what business to do.
