• Tahir Raj Bhasin belongs to a multicultural background as his mother is a Kashmiri Maharashtrian, while his father is a Punjabi.

• He decided to become an actor after he attended IIT Bombay’s Mood Indigo festival.

• He started acting at the age of 13.

• During his school days, he took part in extracurricular activities such as dance and sports, including basketball.

  

• He joined Barry John Acting Studio when he was 15.

• Tahir moved to Mumbai at the age of 23. There, he joined the Institute of Advanced Acting and Behavioural Studies for a year.

• Although he made his debut in Bollywood as a villain in the 2014 film ‘Mardaani,’ he had acted in many other films before, including ‘Kismet Love Paisa Dilli’ (2012) and ‘Kai Po Che!’ (2013).

  

• In 2013, he attended the summer intensive acting and voice training program conducted by actor Naseeruddin Shah.
