Some Lesser Known Facts About Sunil Raoh

• Sunil Raoh belongs to a family of musicians in Bangalore, Karnataka.

• Since the age of 2, he has travelled all across the country with his mother and attended her concerts in different cities.

• At the age of four, he performed along with his mother, at one of her concerts for the first time.

• In 1987, at the age of five, he started his career as a child singer for the film; however, later he was offered to play a supporting role in the film which he accepted.

• Later, he appeared in various Kannada films including Elu Suttina Kote (1988), Readymade Ganda (1991), and Mysore Jaana (1992).

  

• Later, while pursuing his high school education, he began appearing in various Kannada television soap operas including Janani, Chaduranga, and Punarjanma which were broadcast on Kannada Doordarshan.

• In Janani, he played the role of Indian actress Bharathi Vishnuvardhan’s character’s grandson.

• Later, he began appearing in various Kannada films including Chithra (2001) and Panchaalee (2003).

  

• In 2003, he became famous as an actor after he appeared in the Hinglish film Freaky Chakra. In the film, he played the role of an unannounced guest.

  

• In the same year, he appeared in the Kannada-language drama film Preethi Prema Pranaya. In the film, he played the role of a teenage lover named Vivek.

• In 2003, he appeared in the Kannada film Excuse Me in which he played an anti-hero role of a man named Sunil. He was appreciated for his role in the film.

  

• Later, he appeared in many Kannada films which did not do well at the Box office.

• In 2017, he appeared in the Kannada web series Loose Connection.

  

• He has also worked as a playback singer for various songs in many Kannada films including Suvvisuvvale – Bit in Chukki Chandrama (1993), Baa O Preethi Baa” in Jackpot (2006), and Bottom Of My Heart for Tiger (2017).

• In 2022, he appeared in the Indian Kannada-language Fantasy-drama film Thurthu Nirgamana. In the film, he played the role of  Vikram.
