  • Spencer appeared in a Netflix sports documentary series called QB1: Beyond the Lights (2019) when he was in his final season at Pinnacle High School.  Later, he was handed over with a suspension for violating the code of conduct and also became ineligible to play for the rest of the season due to cheating.

  • Spencer enrolled at the Oklahoma Sooners football team on 12 June 2019. He appeared in three games in the 2019 season, and thus was able to redshirt his freshman year of college.
