• Sonal Chauhan is an Indian actor, model, and singer. She gained popularity with her debut Hindi film ‘Jannat’ (2008) starring Emraan Hashmi.

• During her college days, she started participating in a few modelling competitions.

• In 2005, she won the Femina Miss India World Tourism title. In the same year, she won the Miss World Tourism title. Whereas, Miss Russia Natalya Pervova and Miss Lebanon Sandra Raymond El-Sayegh became first and second runner-up respectively. The event was held at Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. In the final round of the beauty pageant, she was asked,

• In 2015, Sonal filed a police complaint of theft at her home in Greater Noida. In the complaint, she mentioned that her beauty pageant crown, worth Rs 3.5 lakh cash, and jewellery worth Rs 40 lakh were missing.
