• Siddharth Dey was born into a Bengali family in Nagpur and raised in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

• In 2004, he moved to Mumbai from Nagpur to become an actor. However, he could not be an actor but a writer.

• Siddharth Dey writes scripts for some of the popular script writers.

• He started his writing career by writing the script of an award show of Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan.

  

• Dey has also worked with many big celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Ayushmann Khurrana.

  

• Siddharth considers Salman Khan as his idol. In an interview, he revealed that he had grown up watching Salman’s films and was in Class 6 or 7 when Khan made his debut with the film “Maine Pyar Kiya” (1989). He further added-
  

  In all my childhood photos you will find Salman Khan’s poster in the background. I used to worship him as an idol and I still respect him a lot.”

  

• He had also written the scripts of two seasons of Bigg Boss 1. Apart from it, he has also worked for some shows and films of Salman Khan.

• Dey has done six world tours with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. He has also collaborated with Akshay Kumar on some tours.

• He has written the scripts of more than 800 stage programs. Besides it, he has also been writing the scripts of Hindustan Times Mumbai’s ‘Most Stylish Awards’ for the last four years.
