• Shreyas Puranik is an Indian singer, music composer, and songwriter known for his work in the Hindi film industry.

• He grew up in Nagpur, Maharashtra. In 2008, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in singing. There, he underwent formal training in music under playback singer Suresh Wadkar.

• He wanted to become a singer since childhood. He revealed in an interview that he began singing when he was three years old.

• He began performing in live shows while studying in college.

  

• He made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) for which he worked as an assistant music director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He composed and sang the song ‘Ab Tohe Jane Na Doongi’ for the film. He also created music for another song from the film titled “Gajanana.”

• He continued to work with Bhansali as an assistant music director on the Hindi films ‘Padmaavat’ in 2017 and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ in 2022.
