Some Lesser Known Facts About Shivranjani Tiwari

• Shivranjani Tiwari is an Indian singer, who specializes in performing bhajans. She is also a kathavachak and narrates religious stories and discourses.

• When Shivranjani was only 4 years old, she discovered her passion for singing bhajans (devotional songs) and preaching kathas (religious stories).  She has composed and performed several bhajans including “Mere Angna Mein Ana Maiya” (2018), “Hey Maa Bhawani” (2019), and “Gagariya Bhar Ke” (2023).

  

• Shivranjani has shared her spiritual knowledge by conducting kathas and performing bhajans at various events. Some of her kathas have even been broadcasted on religious channels like Disha.

  

• In 2019, she auditioned for the reality TV show ‘Indian Idol,’ however, she did not get selected.

  

• Shivranjani Tiwari, along with her family, began a special spiritual journey called the Kalash Yatra on 1 May 2023. This journey started from Gangotri Dham and was planned to end on 16 June 2023 at Bageshwar Dham. During the yatra, Shivranjani carried a sacred vessel filled with holy water from the river Ganga, known as Gangajal. She carried it throughout the journey, seeking blessings from respected saints and sages along the way, as per the revered Hindu tradition.

  

• While Shivranjani was on her journey, there were rumours on social media about her desire to marry a well-known Indian kathavachak named Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. Although Shivranjani confirmed her intention to meet Dhirendra Krishna Shastri in various media conversations, she avoided directly addressing the marriage speculations. During an interview, she mentioned that she had something to confess to Dhirendra, which she planned to reveal on 16 June 2023 through a live video.

• In the same interview, Shivranjani shared that in 2021, she started following Dhirendra Krishna Shastri aka Bageshwar Dham Sarkar. She further shared three things that she admired about Bageshwar Dham Sarkar. Firstly, she appreciated that he promoted Sanatan Dharma, an ancient Indian religious tradition. Secondly, she admired its vision of establishing a cancer hospital, aiming to provide medical care for those battling cancer. Lastly, she mentioned that he aspired to see India become a Hindu Rashtra, where Hinduism holds significant influence.

• She has a good understanding of playing the harmonium.
