Some Lesser Known Facts About Shikhar Pahariya

• Shikhar Pahariya grew up in a well-to-do family in Mumbai.

  

• Shikhar Pahariya’s parents got divorced when he was just 11 years old. After their divorce, Shikhar was raised by his mother singlehandedly.

  

• Shikhar’s mother owns a production house named Sobo Films, which she founded in October 2010.

• Growing up, Shikhar had a deep love for animals and also owned a few pet dogs.

  

• When he was 13 years old, Shikhar started a consultancy firm which provided counselling to new pet owners.

• In 2013, he was a part of the Royal Jaipur Polo squad that represented India at the Berkshire Polo Club London.

  

• After completing his graduation, Shikhar began working as an investment analyst at a London-based company named Wadhawan Global Captial.

• After working at Wadhawan Global Captial for a while, in 2018, Shikhar, along with his brother Veer, started his entertainment and gaming firm named India Wyn.

  

• Meanwhile, he also looked after his father’s business.

However, none of the two responded to the dating rumours. However, later it was believed that the two had a breakup because of Sridevi’s ‘no dating clause’ for Janhvi.

Netizens then started speculating that the shadows were of Shikhar Pahariya and Janhvi Kapoor as at that time Janhvi too was in Italy to attend the wedding functions of Isha Ambani.

  On the show, she admitted that the two had once stopped talking to each other and they were on talking terms again.

• On 9 April 2024, Shikhar and Janhvi attended the screening of Ajay Devgn‘s Maidaan together. At the event, she was spotted wearing a customised necklace that featured Shikhar’s nickname ‘Shiku.’

  

• Shikhar is an avid animal lover and has a few pet dogs and horses. He also uploads his pictures with various animals on his social media accounts.

• Shikhar is good friends with Sachin Tendulkar‘s daughter Sara Tendulkar and Javed Jaffrey’s daughter Alaviaa Jaaferi.

  

• Shikhar uploaded a few pictures with his pets and Janhvi Kapoor from their Diwali celebrations on Instagram. In 2025, a user made a nasty comment on that post. The user wrote,

  The comment didn’t go well with Shikhar and he lashed out at the user for having a pathetic mindset. Sharing the comment on his Instagram story, Shikhar wrote,

  Diwali is a festival of light, progress, and unity-concepts that are clearly beyond your limited intellect. India’s strength has always been in its diversity and inclusivity, something you clearly fail to grasp. Maybe instead of spreading ignorance, you should focus on educating yourself, because right now, the only thing truly ‘untouchable’ here is your level of thinking.”
