Some Lesser Known Facts About Shabeer Kallarakkal

• Shabeers’s parents hailed from Vadakra, Kerala.

• From a young age, Shabeer aspired to be a cricketer and also played cricket leagues in Chennai.

  

• During his graduation, he got a chance to act in a film and played an uncredited role in the Tamil film Aayutha Ezhuthu in 2004.

• In 2009, Shabeer became a theatre artist and joined a theatre group named Koothupattara.

• After the success of his debut film in 2014, Shabeer appeared in a villain role in his second film 54321 (2016). He played the role of Vikram, a killer with an inferiority complex and psychotic obsession.

  

• In 2018, Shabeer Kallarakkal became a part of a Theatre group named The Little Theatre and started working as a clown under the theatre’s hospital clowning programme; his clown name is Kutty.

  

• In 2019, he started working with another theatre group named 5Loosboots.

• In 2021, he appeared in the Tamil film Sarpatta Parambarai. In the film, he played the role of a boxer named Dancing Rose. Shabeer’s portrayal of the character was well appreciated and it became a turning point for his career.

• Later, Shabeer appeared in many films including Adanga Maru (2018), Naa Saami Ranga (2024), and Teddy (2021).

  

• In 2021, Shabeer Kallarakkal removed his tooth to better portray his character in the film Sarpatta Parambarai (2021). In an interview, he talked about this and said,
  

  Yes. If you ask me to do that now, probably I would not, but then I felt it was important for my character.” ^[2]OnManorama

• In 2023, Shabeer Kallarakkal made his debut in Malayalam cinema with the film King of Kotha (2023) in which he played the role of Kannan Bhai alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

  

• Shabeer was cast just a week before the start of the shoot of the Malayalam film King Of Kotha (2023).

• Shabeer is a trained acrobat dancer and martial artist and often posts his videos of practising acrobats on his social media accounts.

• Shabeer enjoys horse riding and he often shares pictures of his horse riding on social media.
