• Seth Rollins started learning wrestling moves at the age of 14. He with some of his friends started indulging in backyard wrestling, using mainly a trampoline. It was during these years that Rollins decided to make a career in professional wrestling.

• 3 years later at the age of 17, Rollins wrestled his very first match for Scott County Wrestling (SCW) in 2003 under the ring name Gixx.

• Rollins wrestled for TNA in 2006. After a brief stay at TNA, Rollins signed a deal with WWE developmental, Florida Championship Wrestling (Now NXT).

• Seth Rollins is half Armenian and half German & Irish.

• Seth Rollins is thankful to former WWE star Evan Bourne, as Bourne was the guy who helped chose Rollins the right platform, at a stage when Rollins had offers from other companies like TNA & ROH as well.

• Rollins claims he took his name from Henry Rollins, the leader of his favorite band ‘Black Flag’. Seth decided to use the name as a tribute to the musician.

• In 2015, Rollins became the first ever wrestler to hold the US and WWE Championship at once.

• At Wrestlemania 31, Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and becoming the Champion was not something which was decided days or months earlier; which is usually the case, in fact he was told 90 minutes prior to the main event match, that he was going to become  the Champion.

• In 2013, Pro Wrestling Illustrated(PWI), a respected wrestling magazine, named Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns as the Tag Team of the Year. In 2014, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were awarded with Feud of the Year; proving that Seth Rollins and his former partners have an unmatched chemistry in the WWE today.
