• Scout started gaming as a hobby at a very young age.

  

• The first games that he used to play were the Virtua Cop, Duke Nukem (3D), and Midtown Madness.

• As a child, he wanted to pursue professional football as his career and he used to play in the right-wing back position.

• He used to play semi-professional football games as a member of the Minerva Academy in Chandigarh until he suffered an ACL injury.

  

• During the recovery period from the ACL injury, he discovered his interest in PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battle Grounds) mobile game.

• He dropped out of the engineering course to pursue his e-sports career in 2018.

• He chose the name Scout for his e-sports profession as he particularly liked the weapon called Scout while playing the video game Counter-Strike (CS 1.6) at the start of his professional gaming career.

• In 2018, he participated in his first international e-sports competition while representing India at the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge (PMSC) finals in Thailand as a member of TeamIND. They ended in the 16th position in this competition.

  

• His team, GodLike Esports, won the Fighting League 2018, one of the first PUBG mobile tournaments, that happened in India.

• He rejoined TeamIND in 2019 and they won second place at the PUBG Mobile Club Open – Spring Split: India in Delhi.

• The team faced a low point in 2019 when they got 12th place in the preliminary matches of the PUBG Mobile Club Open – Spring Split Global Finals.

• He joined Team Soul for a brief period in 2019.

• By the end of 2019, he joined the Fnatic Team after which they secured 9th place at the PUBG Mobile Club Open – Fall Split: South Asia and 8th position in Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2019.

  

• His performance in the Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2019 was a turning point in his e-sports career.

• His team (Fnatic) secured 6th place in both PUBG Mobile Club Open – Spring Split 2020: India and PUBG Mobile Pro League – South Asia Season 1.

• He joined the Orange Rock Esports in 2020 and they secured second place in PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East.

• He rejoined Team Soul in 2021 but by the end of the year, he became the owner of TeamXSpark.

• His team, TeamXSpark, participated in various tournaments and secured commendable positions such as the third position in the A-Tier match, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023.

  

• He is a popular live streamer who also posts lifestyle and travel vlogs on his YouTube channel which has nearly 50 lakh subscribers as of June 2024.

• He has a good collection of anime characters around his workspace.

  

• ScoutOP is the first gamer featured in the official anthem of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

• He is an animal lover and often posts pictures and reels of his pet Labrador, Luffy, on his social media accounts.
