  • He was born to John Morrison, a policeman and also a mayor for a brief period and, Marion Morrison, who worked in administrative services. He grew up with his elder brother, Alan Morrison.
  • He was a child actor and appeared in many television commercials.
  • He is married to his high school girlfriend. He started dating Jennifer when they were both 16 and married her when 21. He went on to have to daughters with her.

  • From 1989 to 1995, he worked as a National Policy and Research Manager for the Property Council of Australia
  • He then shifted his focus to tourism. He served as the Deputy Chief Executive of the Australian Tourism Task Force.
  • In 1998, Morrison shifted to New Zealand to become the director of Tourism and Sport.
