Satish Jarkiholi is an Indian politician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He has been actively involved in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly (MLA) since 2008 and has held ministerial positions in various state governments in Karnataka. He is renowned for his initiatives and awareness drives aimed at combating superstitions prevalent in Hindu society.

Following his completion of schooling, he embarked on a journey in both the sugar processing business and the realm of politics.

He entered politics in 1992 when he was working as a director of the Belagavi District Central Cooperative Bank.

He has won MLC elections, twice from 1998 to 2008, and MLA elections, four times from 2008 to 2023. He has also worked as a Minister under different chief ministers.
