In 2014, she was named as the ICC Women’s One-Day International Cricketer of the year.

She became the first ever woman cricketer in 2015 to play men’s grade cricket in Australia. She had appeared as wicket-keeper for Northern District.

Owing to her problem of anxiety, she declared a break from international cricket in May 2016. It was because she wanted to not spoil her career. Sarah made a comeback in April 2017.
