• Saniya Iyappan was interested in dance from a young age. She is trained in various dance forms, including traditional Bharatanatyam and contemporary modern styles.

• She started modelling as a child and participated in local talent shows.

  

• She participated as a contestant in various dancing competitions on television. She was the winner of Super Dancer Junior 6 (2014) on Amrita TV, second runner-up in the D 4 Dance (season 2) in 2015, and fifth place in D 4 Dance: Reloaded (2017), both on Mazhavil Manorama.

  

• She began as a child artist in 2014 and played a notable role in the Malayalam film Apothecary (2014) as Vijay’s daughter.
