• Sam Pepper hails from Kent, England.

• He has half-Greek and half-British ancestry.

• Before becoming a famous internet personality, Pepper took part in the 11th season of the British reality television series Big Brother as a housemate. He entered the house on Day 52 as a wildcard. During his time in the house, his outspoken and controversial behaviour earned him both attention and criticism. He was evicted on Day 73 with 14.6% of the public vote.

  

• Shortly after being evicted from Big Brother, Pepper launched his YouTube channel on 8 September 2010 and started uploading videos, primarily featuring pranks.

• He also voiced a character in Element Animation’s series, The Crack! (2011).

• From late 2013 to mid-2014, Pepper, along with his friend and fellow YouTube personality Marius “Maz” Listhrop, did a worldwide comedy tour titled the “WDGAF Tour.”

• In November 2015, Sam uploaded a video titled “Killing Best Friend Prank,” which sparked significant backlash on social media and made headlines in the media. • In response to the criticism, Pepper launched a GoFundMe campaign and promised he would delete his YouTube channel if he received a pledge of $1.5 million. However, the campaign was removed shortly, and that video on his YouTube channel was also removed.

• On 21 February 2016, Sam Pepper made all of his YouTube videos private and also deleted all of his tweets, except for one in which he stated, “I give up.”

• On 24 February 2016, he uploaded a 20-minute video titled ” I’m Sorry.” In this video, he confessed that many of his pranks were staged. He also denied all online allegations of harassment against him. After this video was published, Pepper stopped uploading prank videos and started making vlogs, which received more positive responses.

• In 2018, Sam Pepper stopped posting on his main YouTube channel and started a new channel called “Sam Pepper Live”, where he began vlogging and doing live streams with another streamer named Ice Poseidon.

During this time, he was accused of being involved in the “Save the Kids” cryptocurrency scandal. Some people claimed Pepper planned to make $1 million from the token, but he said he was only helping with videos and was unfairly dragged into the controversy. After the scandal, some users nicknamed him “Scam Pepper” on X. He also blocked many users who used this name for him.

• Following the Save the Kids controversy, Sam returned to livestreaming on Kick, a video livestreaming service. He began streaming his travels with his friend Ice Poseidon across various countries, including India, Thailand, South Korea, and Australia.

• On 21 September 2023, during a livestream session in Queensland, Australia, Pepper and his partner Ice Poseidon invited an escort as a part of a prank to their hotel room. Later, the situation became more serious, and they both were arrested for sexual assault. However, they were later released without any charges.

  

• Recently, after his firework incident on 20 October 2025, he was banned from Kick and also from Pump.fun, a crypto platform he was associated with.
