Some Lesser Known Facts About Salman Ali Agha

• Salman started playing cricket at the Apollo Cricket Club in Lahore, Pakistan. He made his first-class debut in February 2013.

• Salman started playing PSL in 2018 for the Lahore Qalandars team where he played till 2021.

• In September 2019, Salman was included in Southern Punjab’s squad for the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament.

• Salman was the leading run-scorer in the 2018 Global T20 Canada tournament; he scored 218 runs in six matches.

• Salman was named in the Pakistan Shaheens squad for their tour of Sri Lanka in October 2021.

• Salman’s maiden Test hundred came against New Zealand in December 2022.

• Salman was part of the Islamabad United team which won the Pakistan Super League tournament in 2024.

  

• In October 2024, Salman was appointed as the vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team in the limited-over format.

• On 17 December 2024, Salman made headlines when he helped the Pakistan team chase the target of 240 runs against South Africa in an ODI match; he scored 82 runs off 90 balls and remained not out.
