  • According to Sajjad Nomani, the movement was launched as a countermeasure to the ‘Brahmanical social order’ that is supported and imposed by the Union government.
  • In 2016, he called for the collective initiative from the government, religious scholars, law enforcement agencies and the media to prevent youth from joining terror outfits such as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
