• Sai Ketan Rao belongs to a middle-class family in Lonavala. He grew up in Hyderabad.

  

• His father is a Maharashtrian, and his mother is a Hyderabadi. It was during his childhood when his father left the family.

• Sai initially attended a school in Solapur, Maharashtra. He moved to Pune before settling in Hyderabad, Telangana.

• Sai was in 10th class when he told his mother that he wanted to become an actor. It took him about 7 months to convince her. She agreed with the condition that he first complete his engineering and MBA before pursuing acting.

• While in college, he competed in sports competitions like go-carting and boxing. He even reached the state level in boxing.

• Sai always had a passion for acting, which grew stronger during his engineering days; he got five backlogs during his first year of engineering.
