Some Lesser Known Facts About Sachin Prathap

• Sachin Prathap is an Indian Kabaddi player who got recognition after playing as a raider for the team ‘U Mumba’ in the eighth and tenth seasons of the Pro Kabaddi League held in 2021 and 2023 respectively.

• Sachin Prathap has represented his college Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College (SDM) in various inter-university and inter-college Kabaddi tournaments. He has also played state-level championships by representing Karnataka.

• In 2022, Sachin was picked as a raider by the Mumbai-based Kabaddi team ‘U Mumba’ to play in the eighth season of the Pro Kabaddi League which was held in Bangalore.

  

• In 2023, he was retained by the team ‘U Mumba’ for the tenth season of the Pro Kabaddi League which was held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Sachin held an average out rate of 51.69% and an average strike rate of 45.39% in the entire season.

• In the same year, Sachin Prathap launched his business in his hometown Mangaluru, Karnataka, a sportswear clothing store named ‘Legend Sports.’

  

• While growing up, he used to play Kho-kho in his primary and high school as his school didn’t have a Kabaddi team, it was when he entered junior college, in the 11th standard that he joined the Kabaddi team and started his journey professionally.

• Sachin enjoys adventurous activities when he is on vacation and parasailing is the one that he loves the most.
