• Rony Ajnali is a Punjabi lyricist and music composer who is known for working in the Punjabi music industry.
• He began his lyricist journey at the age of 15.
• In 2019, he met another lyricist named Gill Machhrai and they decided to work together and that’s how they became partners and started writing and composing songs together.

  

• In the same year, Rony and Gill were contacted by famous singer Diljit Dosanjh‘s manager to work together on a song. Both writers together wrote the song ‘Navi Navi Yaari’ which was part of Diljit’s album ‘G.O.A.T,’ which was released in 2020.

• Rony Ajnali has collaborated with many Punjabi singers like Kulwinder Billa, Prince Narula, Nimrat Khaira, Prabh Gill, Jassie Gill, and Ammy Virk.

  

• In 2023, Rony and his partner Gill Machhrai worked with singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and wrote the song titled ‘Kalaastar,’ for the album “Honey 3.0.”

  

• Actor and singer Prince Narula was the person who introduced Rony to Yo Yo Honey Singh. It was after the release of Prince’s song ‘Todh’ which was written by Rony and Gill that Honey Singh contacted Prince and appreciated the lyrics of the song and that’s how Prince arranged a meeting of all of them.

• When Rony heard the Punjabi singer Harjit Harman‘s album ‘Panjebaan,’ he got so inspired by the work that he decided to pursue his interest of writing full-time.

• Rony is close friends with Punjabi music producer and singer Bunty Bains, and Rony often posts photos with him on Instagram.

• Rony was interested in Bhangra since childhood and was also part of his college’s Bhangra team.
