• Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar hails from Phaltan, Satara.

• Naik belongs to a family of politicians, social workers, farmers, and entrepreneurs.

• In 2004, Naik started actively participating in local politics in Phaltan. Initially, he held various district-level leadership posts within the Indian National Congress in Satara.

• In 2019, he formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of then Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He was soon announced as the BJP candidate for the Madha constituency.

  

• His win in the 2019 Lok Sabha election marked the first time the BJP won the Madha parliamentary constituency.

• Despite being from Satara’s Phaltan town, Naik Nimbalkar got an opportunity to contest in Madha in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

• During his tenure as MLA of Madha constituency, he focused on promoting dairy development and advancing small-scale industries and artisan work in his region. He also supported local crafts and livelihoods.

• In March 2022, one of his close associates filed a complaint against him alleging fraud and misappropriation of around Rs 4.4 crore.

• On 7 May 2022, a case was registered by the Satara police against him and three others for cheating, criminal breach of trust, and forgery.

• In 2024, Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar again contested for the Lok Sabha election, but unfortunately, he could not make his win.

• Apart from a political career, Naik Nimbalkar has a business background. He has decades of experience in the food, power, and fuel industries as a businessman.

• He is the chairman and managing director of Swaraj Green Power and Fuel Limited, which is a manufacturer of sugar.

• In October 2025, Shiv Sena’s MLA Ambadas Danve alleged that it was Naik Nimbalkar who was involved in the Satara Doctor Suicide case. He said that Naik pressured the deceased doctor to create fake medical reports.
