Some Lesser Known Facts About Rana Asif

• Rana Asif is a Pakistani pharmacist, casting director, celebrity manager, philanthropist, and fashion stylist. He participated in the 2023 Pakistani reality TV show Tamasha season 2, which aired on ARY Digital.

• He started working as a pharmacist at Dr Ziauddin Hospital in Karachi, from March 2005 to August 2006.

• After quitting his job there, he worked as a pharmacist at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, in 2006. He worked there for around two and a half years. In June 2008, he joined Dr Ziauddin Memorial Hospital Nazimabad and worked there till September 2011.

• From July 2008 to May 2013, he worked as a senior lecturer to pharmacy students at Baqai Medical University in Karachi.

• Meanwhile, he also joined an NGO named Ladiesfund which works for the welfare of women. On 1 August 2010, he started ‘Do you have time?,’ an NGO which is run by doctors and students for needy people.

• After quitting his job at Dr Ziauddin Memorial Hospital Nazimabad, he worked as supervisor/senior pharmacist at South City Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd., Karachi. He worked there for a year, and in 2013, he joined Imam Clinic, North Nazimabad, Karachi, as a manager of pharmacy.

• In May 2013, he worked as an incharge TPN & chemo pharmacy at the National Institute of Child Health, Karachi, Pakistan. In 2016, he started working as an assistant professor at Baqai Medical University, Karachi.

  

• Rana has also worked as a fashion editor at Samaj Fashion Magazine. He joined FHM magazine in Karachi, Pakistan, as a fashion editor in November 2014 and was later promoted to senior fashion editor.

• In September 2018, he joined Brands Magazine Pakistan as an associate editor.

• He has also acted in a few Urdu TV dramas and films. In 2015, he appeared in an Urdu TV drama in which he did a small role.

  

• Rana is a well-known celebrity manager in Pakistan. He has started a celebrity management company ‘THOR – The House of Rana’ in Karachi.

  

• He has managed the work of many Pakistani TV and film celebrities.

  

• Rana is also a fashion stylist and has styled for various Pakistani dramas, advertisements, and awards shows. He worked as the official stylist at the 4th IPPA Awards in 2021.
