• Ramandeep Singh is an Indian cricketer who has showcased his talent while playing for various teams, notably Punjab and Mumbai Indians. In July 2023, he became a viral sensation when he hit five consecutive sixes in a match in the Shere Punjab T20 Cup.

• During his formative years, Ramandeep Singh developed an interest in sports, enjoying various games. However, everything changed when he witnessed the Indian cricket team’s historic victory in the T20 World Cup in 2007. From that moment on, he became deeply passionate about cricket.

  

• Despite his father’s initial hopes for him to become a cyclist, Ramandeep was determined to pursue a career in cricket. His father eventually supported his decision. As his skills progressed, he made up his mind to dedicate himself fully to the sport and pursue a career as a cricketer.

• He showcased his talent and earned a spot in the Mohali Under-16 team during the Punjab Inter-District Championship in 2012, impressively scoring two centuries. He played for the Mohali Under-19 team in the Punjab U-19 Inter-District Championships in 2016, and, in 2017, Ramandeep represented the Mohali team in the Katoch Shield Tournament.

  

• In the 2022 IPL season, he was brought in by Mumbai Indians as a replacement for Suryakumar Yadav. He was acquired at his base price of Rs 20 lakhs.

  

• Ramandeep played his first IPL match on 21 May 2022 against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. During the match, he showcased his batting skills and scored 13 runs off just 6 balls.
