Some Lesser Known Facts About Ram Yashvardhan

• Ram Yashvardhan is an Indian television actor, who predominantly works in Hindi TV serials. He shot to fame by playing the role of Rivaaj, an evil stalker, in the Hindi TV serial Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan (2019), which aired on Star Bharat. The show also streamed on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.

• He grew up in a middle-class family in Gurgaon, Haryana.

  

• After completing his schooling, Ram enrolled himself in Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi, to prepare for the Aviation Exams. He received training for around a year and then appeared for the exam. Meanwhile, his mind changed and even before the result of the Aviation Exam was out, he enrolled at an acting institute in Delhi to learn acting.

  

• While Ram was attending an acting course in Delhi, he bagged a role in the Marathi film Uday (2012).

• In 2019, he appeared in & TV’s mythological drama Kahat Hanuman Jai Shree Ram in which he played the role of Lord Shiva.

  

• Two years later, he played the role of Lord Shiva in Ishara Channel’s TV serial Paapnaashini Ganga.

• In 2022, he played the character of Hanuman in the TV series Jai Hanuman – Sankat Mochan Naam Tiharo. The show aired on the Dangal TV channel.

  

• He has also appeared in the TV serials Yashomati Maiya K Nandalala (Sony Entertainment Television; 2022), Swaraj (DD National; 2022), and Ali Baba – Ek Andaaz Andekha Chapter 2 (Sony Sab; 2022).

  

• In 2023, he played the character of Shiv in the Colors TV serial Shiv Shakti- Tap, Tyag, Tandav.

  

• Whenever he gets time from his busy schedule, he loves to write poetry. Ram has launched a book on poetry titled Life with Ram Yashvardhan.

  

• In an interview, Ram revealed that his dream role was to portray a character having different shades. He further said that he had begun his career with his dream role itself.

• An introvert, Ram does not like to travel or hang out with friends.

• Yashvardhan is very particular about his fitness and follows a strict workout regimen. In an interview, while talking about his well-maintained body, Ram said that he started gymming right after he finished his schooling. He further said that he worked out for at least half an hour every day.

  

• Although Ram is a vegetarian, he had to include eggs and chicken in his diet for some time to gain 10 kg of weight for his role in the TV serial Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Ravan (2019). With an appropriate diet, he gained the desired look for the role within 5 months.

• He is an avid animal lover and has a pet dog named Snuggles. Earlier, he owned a pet dog named Romeo.
