• From May 2007 to July 2007, Rajesh Yabaji worked as a summer intern at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, United States.

• In May 2008, he began working as a summer intern at Rio Tinto Alcan in Germany. He served there till July 2008.

• Rajesh Yabaji worked as a summer intern at Schindler India Private Limited in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, from May 2009 to July 2009.

• In June 2010, he started working as a Supply Chain Manager at ITC Limited in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. He served in the position till June 2014.

• In June 2014, Rajesh Yabaji was promoted to the position of Category Development Manager at ITC Limited in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He left the organisation in March 2015.

• During his tenure at ITC, he noticed that trucking in India was slow and not well organised.

• Rajesh Yabaji was inspired by the services provided by Ola and Uber, which pushed him to start an online platform to improve the trucking industry in India.

• In April 2015, he, along with Chanakya Hridaya and Ramasubramaniam B., co-founded BlackBuck, a digital trucking platform, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and started working as its Chairman, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer.

  

• In September 2025, Rajesh Yabaji came into the limelight when he announced that his company was relocating its office from Bellandur, Bengaluru.

  

• While announcing the news on social media, he wrote that the company’s employees were facing huge problems while travelling to work because of poor road infrastructure. He said,
  

  ORR (Bellandur) has been our ‘office + home’ for the last 9 years. But it’s now very-very hard to continue here. We have decided to move out.”

  Rajesh Yabaji added that the decision was difficult to make, but had to be done because life for employees in the area was getting worse. He wrote,

  Average commute for my colleagues shot up to 1.5+ hrs (one way). Roads full of potholes & dust, coupled with lowest intent to get them rectified. Didn’t see any of this changing in the next 5 years.”
