• Soon after completing his primary education, Rahgir moved to Jalandhar, Punjab with his family to pursue his formal education.

• In 2014, he started working as a software engineer at a multinational company named Accenture in Pune.

• Rahgir was always passionate about writing and making music and he quit his job at the IT firm and decided to pursue his passion full-time.

• He gave himself the professional name ‘Rahgir’ because everything he wrote was from the perspectives of people who don’t belong to a specific place and are always going around.

• Rahgir is a passionate traveller and he takes inspiration majorly from travelling and seeking new experiences.

• Rahgir’s biggest wish is to perform live in Pakistan one day.

• In 2016, he created his YouTube channel and started uploading his songs on the same. Rahgir’s YouTube channel holds more than 5 lakh subscribers; as of 2024.

• He has performed live at various stage shows in India and abroad.

  

• In 2018, Rahgir released his Hindi album titled ‘Mere Gaon Aoge’ which consisted of a total of 14 songs.

• In 2019, he published his English book titled ‘Aahil.’ However, in 2020, Rahgir had to remove his book from Amazon due to long-term storage fees and fines.

  

• In 2021, Rahgir released his Hindi song titled ‘Rahgir Yahi Janjaal’ on his YouTube channel.

  

• Rahgir is the first person from his hometown Khandela who became an engineer and got a well-paying job in a multinational company.

• He considers American singers like Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and Frank Sinatra to be his biggest inspirations in the field of singing.

• In 2022, Rahgir sang a Hindi song titled ‘Aadmi Bhutiya Hai’ for the Hindi adventure drama film titled ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga.’

• In the same year, he published his Hindi poetry book titled ‘Kaisa Kutta Hai.’

  

• In 2023, he released his Hindi song titled ‘Tan Kha Gyi Ye Tankha’ on his YouTube channel and it holds more than 2 million views; as of 2024.

• Rahgir has released many Hindi songs and some of them include ‘Kachha Ghada’ ( Ye jo hans rahi hai duniya) (2022), ‘Rahgira Mila Kabira Se’ (2023), ‘Baat Kar Lo Yaar’ (2024), and ‘Jalta Dekh lo’ (2024).
