• Ragini Nayak originally belongs to Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, and did her initial schooling from there only.

• While being a student at the University of Delhi, she had initiated into active politics and joined the National Student Union of India (NSUI) as an activist.

• After studying Law from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, she joined Lakshmi Bai College of Delhi University, as an assistant professor of English Literature in the year 2012.

• She got married to Ashok Basoya, who was the former Vice-president of DUSU (University Of Delhi), and they knew each other for 8 years before getting married. He is an advocate by profession and is also a member of the All India Congress Committee.

• She was among top 10-member of the panel that was appointed for the revival of the Indian National Congress during Delhi Legislative Assembly election in the year 2015.

• She had also successfully handled the responsibility of being a National Media Panelist for Indian National Congress.

• She has become a famous face on the Television as various news channels have invited her for panel discussions.
