Some Lesser Known Facts About Priyanshu Kshatriya

• Priyanshu Kshatriya was an Indian actor who played the role of Babu in the Hindi film Jhund (2022). The film was released in theatres on 4 March 2022, and it also streamed on Zee5.

• In an interview, he shared that he was not interested in education. In his teens, he loved to roam around with his friends and play cards. He even used to sell coal with his friends. ^[4]YouTube- Hidden Settings

• In an interview, he shared how he bagged the role of Babu in the Hindi film ‘Jhund.’ He said,
  

  In Nagpur, we have a settlement near the railway tracks. Our childhood has gone there. At that time I used to unload coal from the train and other people i.e. my team would collect it and sell it. At the same time, Nagraj Manjule entered. I saw them and I thought the police had come so I told everyone to run. But after a while, when we saw the camera in his hand, we thought, hey, it’s from a news channel. Not the police.”

  He said that, then the cameraman turned towards him and the other boys. He said,

  I quickly said, let it be your project Vaigare, but don’t name the settlement. This makes the name of the settlement bad. The habitat is mine. After saying this, he started laughing and after that he asked for the film.”

  

  The Hindi film ‘Jhund’ was shot in the Gaddigodam area of Nagpur. In the film, his mother has played a small role.

• Later, he appeared in an episode of the Zee Marathi TV show ‘Kitchen Kalakar.’

  

• Priyanshu loved to swim and make Instagram reels in his leisure time.

• On the night of 7 October 2025, Priyanshu went drinking with his friend Dhruv Lal Bahadur Sahu (20) and later rode to an abandoned house in Nagpur’s Jaripatka area for more drinking.

• While drunk, they argued, and Priyanshu allegedly threatened Sahu. After Priyanshu fell asleep, Sahu, fearing for his safety, tied him with plastic wires and attacked him with a sharp weapon.

• In the early hours of 8 October 2025, locals found Priyanshu half-naked, bound, and gravely injured. He was rushed to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

• Dhruv Sahu was later arrested and confessed to the murder.
