• Priya Krishna is an Indian politician and member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He was elected as the MLA from Govindraj Nagar, Bangalore in 2009. At the age of 25, he was the youngest member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He also runs the real estate business Sri Lakshmi Narasimha (SLN) Enterprises with her father and brother.

• As a realtor, Priya Krishna runs the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha (SLN) Enterprises, along with his father, M. Krishnappa, and his brother, Pradeep Krishnappa. He holds directorship in the private limited companies SLN Constructions, SLN Holdings, SLN Shelters, SLN Cement, SLN Infratech, SLN Mines, and SLN Eco Ventures. Additionally, he serves as a designated partner at IS And DS Global LLP.

• “Priya” is an uncommon name for a boy, but he was named after his mother, Priyadarshini.

• He is a skilled golf player who represented Karnataka in the 2001 National Games held in Punjab.

• In February 2015, Priya Krishna made headlines when he paid a court fee of Rs 52 lakh as part of the legal action he initiated against a Kannada channel. The channel had aired accusations of forest land encroachment against him. According to the news report, it was alleged that Priya Krishna was involved in encroaching upon forest land and a burial ground in Mysuru to develop a layout. The channel also claimed that a forest officer had filed a complaint at Kuvempunagar police station regarding the matter, and the encroachment was carried out by individuals associated with Priya Krishna. These news reports were broadcasted on 9 and 10 December 2014. Priya Krishna vehemently denied these allegations and decided to take legal action by filing a defamation case against the channel. In his lawsuit, he sought Rs 100 crore in compensation for the damages caused by the false accusations.

• In 2017, Priya Krishna and Jayanagar MLA Vijay Kumar collaborated with Project Vruksha Foundation for its tree mapping project.
