  • Parimal Nathwani was born and grew up in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • After completing his education in Mumbai, he tried to establish himself professionally there. However, he didn’t get many opportunities, so he moved to Vadodara, Gujarat, and started working at Vadodara Stock Market.
  • He has also started a failed soap manufacturing venture.
  • In 1995, Parimal Nathwani met Dhirubhai Ambani and Mukesh Ambani, after which his life changed dramatically. Dhirubhai Ambani provided him a fresh start in a major corporate entity. He also considers Dhirubhai Ambani as his mentor.

  • In 1997, he led several key projects for the Reliance group, including land acquisition for the Jamnagar refinery, setting up petroleum retail outlets, and establishing the Jamnagar Special Economic Zone. Soon, Nathwani became the face of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) in Gujarat.
  • As of 2025, he became the Director of Corporate Affairs, a position in which he handled high-level coordination, government relations, and strategic initiatives for the group.
