  • In April 2025, he revealed in an interview that while shooting for the film Ghatak, he injured his knee and was hospitalised. While in the hospital, Veeru Devgan visited him and advised him to drink his urine to speed up the recovery process. Paresh claimed that the process accelerated his healing, shocking the doctors as he healed in just 1.5 months, while they expected the injury would take 2 to 2.5 months to heal. Paresh said,

He told me to drink my own urine first thing in the morning. All fighters do this. You will never face any problem, just drink urine first thing in the morning.”

  • Thereafter, several health professionals claimed that there was no scientific proof that drinking own urine in the morning increases metabolism and assists in the healing of injuries and warned that following such habits could cause health issues due to the presence of toxins in human urine. Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips, famously known as TheLiverDoc, also took to social media and refuted the claims.
