Some Lesser Known Facts About Pamela Genini

• Pamela Genini was born and grew up in Strozza, a small village on the eastern side of the Imagna Valley in Italy.

• Since childhood, she had been keenly interested in modelling and fashion. When she was 8 years old, her mother did her first professional photoshoot.

• At the age of 16,  she began her professional modelling career.

• When she was 19 years old, Pamela participated in the Italian reality show L’isola di Adamo ed Eva (Adam & Eve Island), aired on Deejay TV.

• Pamela had also co-founded a luxury swimwear brand, EP SheLux, together with her friend Elisa Bartolotti, who is also a famous influencer and TV personality in Italy.

• In 2017, Pamela Genini’s father met with a major accident; since then, he has been in a vegetative state.

• Along with her modeling career, Genini ran a luxury real estate consulting business with offices in Milan and frequently shared her luxurious lifestyle on social media.

• Pamela Genini was dating a wealthy entrepreneur, Gianluca Soncin. For the last year, their relationship was reportedly marked by frequent arguments and violence, and Genini was planning to end the relationship.

• Her partner had also duplicated her apartment keys.

• On the evening of 14 October 2025,  after a heated argument with her partner, Pamela was stabbed 24 times by him on the balcony of her apartment.

• Pamela managed to call her ex-boyfriend, asking for help and for him to call the police. When her neighbours heard the argument, they also called the police.

• When the police arrived, they found Genini dead, and her partner had reportedly attempted suicide by stabbing himself twice in the throat. He was hospitalized at Milan’s Niguarda Hospital under police custody.

• He has been charged with aggravated homicide, stalking, and femicide (murder of a woman motivated by gender based violence, which is a severe crime under Italian Law). Pamela is the seventeenth victim of femicide in Italy in 2025.

• A candlelight march was held in Milan’s Gorla district to honour Genini’s memory.

• Pamela Genini was an avid dog lover. She had a chihuahua breed dog named Bianca.
