• She was born in Kangra and grew up in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

• She used to play volleyball during her school days.

• She is a trained classical dancer. She received the Best Dancer of the Year award from actor Shatrughan Sinha when she was studying in class 10.

• She has a passion for painting and has won the ‘Highly Commendable’ award at a youth festival while studying at the Government Degree College, Dharamshala. She also served as the Vice President of the college.

• In an interview, she claimed that initially, she didn’t want to pursue a career in civil services. She wanted to pursue a career in medicine in the beginning and decided to become a journalist after participating in student politics during college.

• She studied at Raj Malhotra’s IAS Institute in Chandigarh to prepare for her HAS civil service exam and later served as a teacher at the institute. She also taught at the Brain Tree Institute.

  

• In 2019, she cleared the HAS (Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service Combined Competitive Exam) examination and was selected as a BDO (Block Development Officer).

• She cleared the HAS examination again in 2020 and secured 10th rank in the exam.

• Two months after her marriage in 2021, she claimed that her ex-husband, Vishal Nehria had physically and mentally tortured her in a video that went viral. She further lodged an FIR against her ex-husband and demanded security.

  

• She further alleged that he had beaten her a few months before marriage in a hotel in Chandigarh.

• She also claimed that four days after her marriage, Vishal had forced her to leave their home at night after she was found COVID-19 positive. Later, she returned to their home after he threatened to self-harm.

• In 2022, she claimed that Vishal was continuously harassing her. She alleged that he had followed her to Jogindernagar and Hamirpur where she was undergoing training due to which she filed an FIR against him at the Dhali Police station.

• She further claimed that her ex-husband Vishal had threatened her and forced her to withdraw the FIR.

•  In January 2022, she was appointed as the Brand Ambassador of Himachal Pradesh by the Ladli Foundation.

  

• She uses her social media to motivate students aspiring to take the civil services exams and guide them. She also uses her social media platform to talk about women’s empowerment.
