Some Lesser Known Facts About Noshaba Shehzad

• After her marriage, Noshaba Shehzad moved from Islamabad to Lahore, her husband’s hometown, in 2018 and started exporting farm products.

• She then became the CEO of a travel and tours company called Jaiyana Travel and Tourism.

  

• While living in Lahore, Noshaba Shehzad began helping Indians whose families left Pakistan during Partition to visit their old homes and ancestral places.

• In 2023, during an interview with an Indian news outlet, she said that many Indians contact her on social media asking for help with getting visas. She said,

  I’ve forgotten the number of people from India who connect with me on social media for a visa to visit home. They are in the twilight of their lives. Fond memories of their roots perhaps create a strong urge to visit, maybe for one final time.”

  

• On 5 June 2025, Noshaba Shehzad came into the limelight after being identified as the ISI agent who influenced Indian social media influencers like Jyoti Malhotra and turned them into spies.

• She could easily help Indians get visas to Pakistan because of her links with the Pakistani embassy in Delhi, India.

• Reportedly, under the guise of promoting tourism, Noshaba Shehzad started recruiting Indians both within India and overseas to act as spies for Pakistan.

• She has hundreds of secret agents (sleeper cells) in India. Her plan focused on targeting influencers first.

• Jyoti Malhotra, an Instagram influencer who was later arrested, was one of the Indians she reportedly lured to Pakistan using cultural trips and tourism as a cover.

  

• According to Indian investigators, Noshaba Shehzad started working as a tour guide and later joined spying missions.

• She arranged the trips mostly under the label of religious pilgrimages, such as Sikh and Hindu yatras, through her agency, which had a partnership with Pakistan’s Evacuee Trust Property Board. It gave her sole rights for such tours.

• Indian investigators believed that Noshaba Shehzad’s agency not only arranged travel but also helped fund anti-India missions.

• Reportedly, the pilgrims were charged extra, and this extra money was used for secret operations.

• Noshaba Shehzad’s husband, Shehzad Masud, is a retired civil servant in Pakistan, giving her more access to government circles.

  

• She was in close contact with Danish (also known as Ehsan-ur-Rehman), an ISI agent at the embassy, who was expelled in May 2025 after Jyoti Malhotra’s arrest.

• Jyoti Malhotra was close to Danish. She had travelled with him to Bali, Indonesia, and had visited Pakistan four times.

• Noshaba Shehzad likes travelling to distant places in her free time.
