• Nisha Pandey is an Indian singer, actor, and stage performer. She is known for singing Bhojpuri songs.

• She started her singing career through stage shows at local shows and events. Gradually, she started performing at various international shows.

  

• She has lent her voice to various Bhojpuri music albums like ‘DJ Bajake Nacha Naya Saal Me’ (2017) and ‘Jawani Bhail Chapakal’ (2018).

  

• Nisha has sung campaigning songs for BJP and Samajwadi Party.

• In November 2019, she came in contact with the Indian digital content creator Rajan Pandit also known as Divyansh Tiwari through Instagram. Gradually, they became good friends, and soon, she developed a good bond with his mother and sisters as well.

  

• Soon, they fell in love with each other. In March 2020, she met his family, and they approved of their relationship. Thereafter, Rajan started visiting Mumbai (where Nisha was living) oftenly. However, one day, when he got the news that his mother was hospitalised, he returned to his hometown. He then called Nisha and asked her to come to his hometown and also asked for financial help. She agreed to it and lend him around Rs 15 lakh-Rs 20 lakh. Nisha lived at Rajan’s house for a few months, and even his family accepted her as their daughter-in-law. They even promised that after the COVID-19 lockdown was lifted, they would announce their marriage. His family allowed Nisha and Rajan to share a room as husband-wife. By May 2020, Nisha got pregnant with Rajan’s child. When Rajan came to know about this, he got very upset and insisted her to terminate the pregnancy. Even his parents declined to acknowledge her pregnancy.

  

• Consequently, Rajan shifted her from his home to his friend’s apartment, where she was tortured by Rajan and his sisters to abort the child. After a few days, Nisha returned to Mumbai. During her time there, Rajan stopped responding to her calls and messages. His family, too, started to neglect her. In an interview, she disclosed that while she was out of India for an international performance, Rajan got married to another woman. After returning to India, she lodged a complaint against Rajan at the Indira Nagar, Lucknow police station.

• In January 2021, her daughter named Divyanshi was born. However, Rajan denied being her father. As a result, Nisha requested a DNA test for her daughter. Eventually, the DNA test confirmed Rajan’s paternity. • Nisha has sung many Bhojpuri songs such as “Jab Kurti Key Khole Bataniya” (2019), “Suhag Wali Night Me” (2020), “Hamar Odhani” (2021; music album-Dream Girl), “Naihar Ke Maja Nahi Bhule” (2022), and “Jawaniya Julum Kare” (2022).

  

• She has also lent her voice to various Bhojpuri religious songs like “Jai Kali” (2021), “Chath Geet” (2021), “Aai Gaili Chathi Maiya” (2022), and “Aawe Hoke Rathva Sawaar” (2022).

  

• In 2019, Nisha released the Bhjopuri religious music album ‘Mata Ji Hits’ in which she sang songs like “Aili Aili Re Mayaiya,” “Jahiya Tu Bharbu Mai,” “Bolaw Re Sakhiya,” “Mai Ke Murtiya,” and “Chunariya Lal Mayi Ke.”
