• At the age of 12, she started wrestling at an akhada in Jind, Haryana.

• She trained in basketball for a year before choosing wrestling as her main sport.

• In 2017, she was suspended for two years by NADA (National Anti-Doping Agency) for using dope before a match.

• In 2021, news was spread by her name where it was stated that she was shot dead in broad daylight. Later, she confirmed this as fake news by posting a video online and said that it was a different woman with the same name.

• In 2022, she lost in the women’s freestyle 68kg category in the World Wrestling Championship in Belgrade.

•  She became the fifth among the six wrestlers from India to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

  

• In 2024, during the quarterfinal match in the 68kg freestyle wrestling category at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, she had a hand injury while competing against North Korea’s Pak Sol Gum. After that, the injury affected her performance and she lost the match with a score of 8-10.
