• Nihal Tauro is an Indian singer, songwriter, and composer. He was born and brought up in Moodbidri, Mangalore, India.

• He belongs to a musical family. His father is his inspiration for music. He has been learning music since the age of 4.

• Nihal is fluent in Hindi, English, and Kannada languages.

• He is a big fan of singer Arijit Singh, who is also an inspiration for his looks.

  

• Nihal has done many singing reality shows. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Kannada Season 15 was his first reality show, which made him popular. He has also won the Daijiworld Studio Voice title in 2017.

• Nihal has performed at many stage shows. He has also done many international shows in Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

• He has also worked as a singer for popular movies such as Premieres Padmini and Love Mocktail.

• In 2020, Nihal auditioned for Sony Entertainment Television’s singing reality show Indian Idol Season 12. He charmed judges with his melodious voice. He got selected and also received a golden ticket from judges. He has managed to secure his position in the top 6  of the show.

• He is a nature lover. He loves animals. Every time he performs on the show of Indian Idol, he is spotted wearing a live plant locket around his neck. When the judges asked him about his unique locket during his audition, he replied,

I believe humans are always tensed and this live plant locket gives me peace and positivity.”
