Some Lesser Known Facts About Naveen Pandit

• Naveen Pandit is an Indian actor and model, who has mainly worked in Hindi TV serials.

• In 2012, he won Mr Jammu and Kashmir title. The event was organised by the Jammu Dreamz in association with Nirvana Academy.

  

• After completing his graduation, he started working as an IT engineer at Infosys, Hyderabad, Telangana. After working there for almost two years, he was shifted to the Pune branch of Infosys and worked there as a senior systems engineer.

  

• While working at Infosys, Naveen used to participate in various modelling events and theatre plays. He used to perform with the Hyderabad-based theatre group Samahaara.

• In 2016, he decided to make his career in acting. He then left his job in Pune and shifted to Mumbai. In an interview, while talking about it, Naveen said,
  

  I knew I wanted to be an actor and started working in that direction. I took a transfer to Pune so that I could travel easily to Mumbai for auditions. I joined a theatre group so that I could polish my skills. But when I was in Pune nothing materialised. That’s when my friends from the industry told me that I should move to Mumbai. It was a big decision, but I decided to go ahead with it. I came to Mumbai in 2016. My family supported me both mentally and financially so that I could do what I wanted to.”

• Naveen has acted in various Hindi TV serials like ‘Jiji Maa’ (2017; Star Bharat), ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’ (2017; Star Plus), and ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’ (2018; Zee TV).

• In 2018, he appeared in the episode ‘Tharki Buddha’ of the Hindi web series ‘Gandii Baat.’

• In the same year, he acted in the YouTube Hindi short film ‘Mumbai Dreams,’ which was featured at the Mumbai film festival.

  

• Naveen has featured in a few Hindi music videos like ‘Main Teri Ho Gayi’ cover song (2018; by Akanksha Bhandari) and ‘Ittefaq’ (2020; by Duran Maibam , Mayank Juyal, Isha Raina).

  

• Some of his Hindi TV serials are ‘Ek Bhram…Sarvagun Sampanna’ (2019; Star Plus), ‘Khoob Ladi Mardaani… Jhansi Ki Rani’ (2019; Colors TV), and ‘Pushpa Impossible’ (2022; SAB).

• In 2020, he acted in a YouTube short film ‘Kashmiriyat’ in which he played the role of Liyaqat.

• In 2021, Pandit was featured in a few Hindi YouTube videos such as ‘Should We Break Up?,’ ‘Not A Special Women’s Day,’ ‘Tinder Date In Lockdown,’ and ‘Intimate Things Couples Do.’

  

• Naveen got married to his long-time girlfriend Shubhi in 2019. In an  interview, while talking about Shubhi, Naveen said,
  

  Just seven days after my arrival in Mumbai on May 7, 2016, I realised that I was in love with Shubhi. Her absence of six days made me realise her importance in my life. Earlier, I wasn’t sure if I had time for love as I wanted to focus on work. It’s very easy to feel tempted, especially in this industry and with so many beautiful faces around. But, I have never given into it, as I can’t put a lifetime of happiness at stake for anything frivolous. Shubhi was with me when I needed her the most. She has not only supported me emotionally, but also financially.”

• He is a fitness enthusiast and regularly practices Yoga. In school, he used to participate in various physical activities like athletics, taekwondo, and martial arts.

• He has appeared in a TV commercial for men’s hair gel Wildstone.

• He has shared a few pictures on his Instagram account in which he can be seen smoking cigarettes.
