  • Narender Berwal is an Indian boxer, who won a Bronze medal in the super heavyweight (+91 Kg) category of boxing at the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China in 2023.
  • He is also an Indian Army Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO).
  • In 2010, he began his career in boxing. He then joined SAI in Bhiwani, Haryana, where he was trained by his coach Davraj.
  • He has won gold medals at many state-level and national-level boxing competitions. His achievements include winning gold medals at the 3rd Youth Haryana State Boxing Championships in Dadri, Haryana (2011), the 44th Youth Men National Boxing Championships in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh (2011), the 38th Junior Men Haryana State Boxing Championships (2012), and the 45th Junior Men National Boxing Championship in Patiala, Punjab (2012).
  • In 2012, he made his international debut in the super heavyweight category at the World Youth Championships in Yerevan, Armenia.
