• Mimi was 2 years old when she came to Germany with her family from Yugoslavia.

  

• Mimi changed her name to Miranda Toma on the advice of her agent because her birth name was difficult for the German people to understand and pronounce. Toma was the first name of her great-grandfather.

• As an actress and producer, Mimi is primarily known for the German films and show Kokowääh Tatort (1970) – Tatort (2001-2018).

  

• Her debut film ‘Zita – Geschichten über Todsünden’ won the Special Jury Prize at the International Film Festival of Young Cinema in Turin.

• Mimi became famous from the film ‘Sex und mehr’ in 2004.

• Mimi as a guest singer has performed with various rock bands. She released her singles with the two songs Heartbeat Radio and Rock ‘n’ Roll Star in 2009.

• In 2015, Mimi published her book “Brauchstu ma keine Doktor, brauchstu nur diese Buch. Die Balkantherapie für Liebe, Leib und Leben.

  

• Mimi was featured in the August issue of Playboy magazine under the name Miranda Leonhardt in 2009 and again in November 2016 under the name Mimi Fiedler.

• Mimi went to Alcoholics Anonymous for the first time in 2010 after she lost her driving license for drunken driving.

• Mimi is very passionate about photography and has worked as a fashion editor for the international magazine Neue Mode Magazine.

•  In 2012, Mimi changed her name for the third time when she got engaged. She took her fiance’s last name, ‘Fiedler, ‘ and clubbed it with her nickname, Mimi. However, their engagement was later broken but she kept the name.

• Mimi was an alcohol addict for 30 years; however, she has been sober since 2019. She started drinking at the age of 14.

• In 2017, Mimi was nominated for the  Der Deutsche Comedypreis for her role of Sabine in the TV show Rabenmütter (2016).

• Mimi appeared in the 12th season of the German reality show ‘Promi Big Brother’ in October 2024 aired on Sat.1 TV channel. She was evicted from the show on the 15th day.
