Initially, Mazher worked as a theatre artist and did numerous shows with veteran actors like Salim Ghouse, Kader Khan, and Atul Kumar.

He got his first break in 2001 in the TV serial ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ as Anish Sikand.

He also acted in the Bollywood film ‘Jodi Breakers’ (2012), starring R. Madhavan and Bipasha Basu.

He featured in numerous commercial advertisements like Colgate, Dollar Winter Care, Castrol GTX, etc.

In 2008, he along with his wife Mouli Ganguly participated in the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye’ Season 4.
